Massive turn out for the biggest halloween party in south London. Wearing their scary halloween attire such as scarecrow, devilina, cat woman, hunchback lady, witches, jabbawockeez, vampires, zombies, etc. This is one happy moments for the MFBA members and friends as they celebrated halloween with big bash and the crowd feels the spirit of halloween.
The venue was held in Colliers Wood Community Centre on 31st October 2009, 5pm-11pm. These event was organised by the MFBA with the aim to raised fund to support the association’s future projects. At the same time, a pre-celebration for the association’s first year anniversary.
The halloween disco attended by members and their families, new and old friends and guests. So there are always new people to meet and new friends to make while having dinner. And wow, beers and smirnoff vodka, cold drinks and hot drinks are served, too.
The party started at 5pm with the childrens’ parlour games such as “Trip to Jerusalem”, “Bring Me” and “Piñata” which were initiated by Liza Ferreol, Caterina Dalida and Shiela Mujer. Children’s wearing their best scary halloween attires, they went to the dance floor and showed their dancing talent at the same time. The judges picked the best halloween attire for the night that goes to Chloe Peralta, who won £50 worth voucher.
After that, the disco has started, the discjockey played "...a variety and mix dance music to keep people 'dancing all night long'" combined with lighting systems that throbbed to the beat of the music.
MFBA members whose dedication and commitment are second to none made this halloween disco become a reality. Long live to our association “Mitcham Pinoy”. |
